Koala Bears

Welcome to the Koala Bear Class.

Over the coming months, we will endeavour to further our knowledge in our World War II topic and use our exciting trip to London as a stimulus for this.  Visits to St. Paul's Cathedral, The London Eye and a river cruise down The Thames will provide inspiration for a plethora of creative writing, accompanying our latest literature study; 'The London Eye Mystery'.

Our exit point for World War II will be a victory street party (weather permitting) where we will celebrate as our ancestors did on that day in 1945!

With regards to mathematics, our inspiration for the spring term is primarily investigation based, exploring measurement and statistics using primary data that we have collected first hand.  After this we will be moving on to explore shapes and their properties, as well as understanding how we can manipulate shapes (translation and reflection).
