The Museum of Liverpool

Year 1 had an amazing time at the Museum of Liverpool; exploring Toys from the past.

The children enjoyed exploring a variety of toys from the past and discovered how toys have changed over time They were able to identify that most toys in the past were home made and made from wood and modern toys are usually plastic and are often battery operated.

The children spent some time playing with the toys in the museum. George enjoyed playing with a  ‘Cup and Ball’ and lots of children enjoyed playing with the ‘Puppet Theatre.’

The children also had time in “Little Liverpool’ and enjoyed operating the boats and ‘fishing.’

The children thoroughly enjoyed the trip however I think most enjoyed their lunch as they were asking for lunch from 10am!

All of the children were so well behaved on the trip and several members of the public commented on how smart they all looked in their uniform.
