Welcome to the Spectacled Bears!

Our class teacher is Miss Williams.

We also have Mrs Guy working with us this year.

Some important things to remember in year 6:

- Our P.E days are Tuesday and Friday.

Children will need their P.E kits on these days but P.E kits should remain in school all week.

Maths and English homework will be given out on a Friday and should be returned to school every Tuesday morning.

Magic maths and spellings will be given out on Wednesday and tested the following Wednesday.

Homework is a very important part of year 6. It helps children to revise certain areas of the curriculum and prepare them for the homework they will receive in secondary schools.

If you fancy some extra spelling homework, then see if you can spell all of the Year 5 and 6 statutory spellings!

Spelling-List-Years-5-61(1)

Children should be taking regular visits to the 'TTRockstars' website - they all have logins and codes, so no excuses!

As children prepare for their end of year tests, we need to ensure that they become increasingly fluent in their use of mathematical facts. We see every year that children who have learned their multiplication tables benefit greatly from the ability to recall facts quickly.

To help your child improve their speed of recall, we have organised a way for them to practise at home online.
