Home Learning during school closure

Teachers will be setting an English and Maths activity daily on Purple Mash. EYs Teachers will alternative between Purple Mash and Tapestry. Please try and read daily and go on TTRS to practise your tables. From Easter, a different curriculum leader will be setting an open ended project linked to a subject for everyone to take part in. We will populate the class pages with all of your learning. Please send it in to schooloffice@townfield.wirral.sch.uk. Keep an eye on our facebook page where we will be uploading links to useful websites that are offering free home learning.

Science Project (week commencing 20th April)

This week Mr Rosser has planned an exciting Science project on birds for all children to take part in. Please read through this powerpoint and try out the suggested activities at the end. We would love to see the work your children complete and would like to display this on the class pages on our school website. Please send photos, drawings, writing to the school office email  - schooloffice@townfield.wirral.sch.uk. Please clearly mark the subject box with your child's year group and teacher's name. If you send photographs of your child we will presume that you are happy for them to feature on the school website. If you do not want their face to appear please make this clear. 

Computing Project 27.4.20

Mrs Ali has devised an exciting Computing project for you. It begins with learning about the 'moving picture' through time and the end product is an animation film. Look at your class page for more information. Send your learning to schooloffice@townfield.wirral.sch.uk and we will put it on the class page.

Geography Project 4.5.20

Mrs Williams has devised a very open ended Geography project for you. Where would you like to visit in the world? Take a trip to your ideal destination and showcase your learning in a format of your choice (leaflet, picture, map, model, powerpoint). Mrs Mathieson has organised a lovely Art project based on the work of Andy Goldsworthy. Andy uses natural resources to make outdoor sculptures. We hope you enjoy getting creative!
