RD- Exploring exotic fruits (Understanding the World/Geography/DT)

Lesson: Understanding the World

We have been finding out about some of the cuisine enjoyed in Kenya.  Today we investigated some exotic fruits that grow in Kenya, this included avocados, grapefruit, apricots, figs and papaya.  We observed them before and after cutting them up.  We then had the chance to touch, smell and taste the fruits.   We were impressed with how adventurous the children were and how much they enjoyed the fruits.
