Lesson: Music

In our music lesson we have been answering the question ‘What is a musical instrument?’ We looked at different instruments, learnt their names and explored the sounds they make.  We watched a band play and talked about

• The different instruments in the band.
• The beat. 
• The changes in dynamic, pitch and tempo. 

Then we played the song again and joined in with our instruments.  We had to listen carefully and decide when to play loudly, quietly, quickly or slowly .
